MIRRORED WALLS (NOT CEILINGS)
The bedroom of Apparatus’s Gabriel Hendifar brand new York City apartment is an object lesson in just how a mirrored wall—long considered a relic of a bygone era—can be exactly what a room that is modern. The customized brass sleep is topped with a bedcover and bolster in Zak+Fox materials. The pendant and nightstand are by Apparatus.

SINUOUS ACCENT CHAISE
As much you up past bedtime because you can want your bedroom to become a peaceful sanctuary, the current presence of a dramatic piece of furniture, like this sinuous rocking chaise by Igor Rodrigues in a 2Michaels townhouse project on the Upper West Side, won’t keep.

ALL OUT AUBERGINE
There is no more shade that is sophisticated of than eggplant, as evidenced in this Brooklyn family members residence created by Danielle Fennoy of Revamp. The bedroom walls are covered in Farrow & Ball’s Brinjal paint. The customized bed’s headboard, beneath an artwork by Stan Brodsky, is upholstered in a Romo print, and the throw pillow is in a Dedar fabric.

The stained-glass window in the sack is original to the apartment in the Paris apartment of Hugo Toro. The chair is by Timothée Musset, and the curtains are from Silva Paris. The carpet and the leather bed frame are custom.

A headboard does need to be n’t upholstered, tufted— or a headboard at all, for that matter. A perfect decorative headboard in a Brooklyn brownstone designed by Ishka Designs, carved wooden doorways from Morocco. The pouf is from CB2, the light that is pendant Workstead. The carpet is from Nourison, as well as the curtains are from the Shade Store.

BETTER TOGETHER
Where is it written that two beds require two headboards that are discrete? Answer: nowhere worth mentioning. HITTING THE TUBE LIGHTS

Bedside lamps can be nice, but they take up room in the nightstand. These Orion pipe lights by Lee Broom from the long term Perfect provide an extremely chic solution in a Workshop/APD project in Manhattan. The headboard was upholstered in a Pierre Frey material, and the curtains are by Cowtan & Tout. Underfoot is a custom Medina rug by Eskayel.
